9 day tour to Lake Garda, Italy. Staying at Hotel Sole, Riva del Garda, Italy (includes an overnight hotel stay for the out & return)
Day 1
We depart for Italy, crossing by ferry, making comfort stops and a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arriving at our overnight hotel late afternoon/early evening.
Day 2
After breakfast, we continue our journey to Riva del Garda. Arriving at Hotel Sole early evening for our main stay.
Day 3
Free day to relax and enjoy Riva Del Garda.
Day 4
Today we have a guided coach tour of the Italian Dolomites. Also known as the 'pale mountains', the Dolomites are a breath taking mountain range, with a mixture of Italian and Austrian architecture they are said to be one of the most scenic regions in Italy.
Day 5
We will spend a day exploring Lake Garda. Along its shores lie pretty villages such as Bardolino (market day on Thursdays) and Sirmione (at the southern tip of the lake), is set in a picturesque headland jutting into the lake.
Day 6
We get to relax and enjoy another free day, to do as much or as little, exploring this beautiful town.
Day 7
Today we enjoy Lake Garda from the water, as we cruise from Riva del Garda to Limone, where will will have around 1½ - 2 hours to discover this pretty town. We re-join the boat to cruise over to Malcesine situated on the eastern shore, again we will enjoy some free time of approx 1½ - 2 hours before we re-join our cruise for the return journey to Riva del Garda.
Day 8
We say our fond farewells to Hotel Sole, departing after breakfast, enjoying the Alpine views en-route back to our overnight hotel.
Day 9
We depart the hotel after breakfast where we continue our journey home, crossing by Ferry, arriving back in East Sussex early evening.
